Degree Objective two

Ability to assemble resources & infrastructure needed to successfully take technology to market

This section demonstrates my ability to assemble the resources, infrastructure, and strategic elements required to successfully take a technology-enabled or service-based concept from idea to viable market entry.

Centered around my proposed business “Clear That Clutter” - a professional home organization and decluttering service - the featured assignments collectively map out the full commercialization pathway: developing a realistic business plan, crafting an investor-ready pitch deck, and designing a targeted, low-cost marketing and launch strategy focused on digital channels, local presence, and word-of-mouth growth.

Through these projects I identified essential operational needs (branding, pricing models, scheduling tools, insurance, transportation), evaluated market fit and competition, built customer acquisition tactics (social media content plans, platform selection, visual assets), and outlined scalable growth opportunities (add-on services, potential franchising) - showing practical skills in turning an entrepreneurial idea into a market-ready, resource-coordinated business ready for real-world execution.

Together, these works highlight my capability to think holistically about go-to-market execution, resource allocation, and sustainable scaling in a service-oriented industry with strong local demand.

Final Project - Business Plan

This project develops a detailed go-to-market strategy and business plan for "Clear Chat Clutter," a straightforward home organization and decluttering service focused on helping busy individuals and families tackle physical chaos - such as overflowing closets, garages, kitchens, paperwork piles, and general household disarray - through professional sorting, efficient storage solutions, and sustainable disposal or donation guidance.

I assembled the essential resources and infrastructure needed for launch and scaling, including target customer personas (e.g., working parents, remote professionals, seniors downsizing), competitive analysis of local organizing services, pricing tiers and service packages, marketing channels (social media, local partnerships, Google My Business, word-of-mouth referrals), operational setup, team roles (solo operator to potential hires), and risk considerations (seasonal demand, client liability, scheduling conflicts).

The plan outlines a realistic pathway from concept to market entry, emphasizing low-barrier startup costs, customer acquisition strategies, service delivery workflows, and growth tactics like add-on maintenance packages or seasonal deep-clean offerings -demonstrating my ability to identify and coordinate the practical elements required to successfully commercialize a service-based business in the growing home organization industry.

Pitch Deck

This pitch deck project presents an overview for "Clear That Clutter," a professional home organization and decluttering service designed to help families and individuals reclaim space, reduce stress, and create functional, sustainable living environments through expert sorting, storage solutions, and responsible disposal or donation. I structured the deck to cover key commercialization elements - including target market (busy families, seniors, remote workers), value proposition (time savings, emotional relief, eco-friendly practices), competitive landscape (low direct competition in organized local markets), revenue model (hourly packages, add-on services, potential franchise scalability), operational plan (team structure, equipment needs), marketing strategy (social media focus on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Nextdoor), and financial projections - while highlighting low barriers to entry and strong potential for local growth or franchising. The presentation demonstrates my ability to assemble a cohesive go-to-market narrative, identify essential resources (branding, digital presence, partnerships, basic infrastructure), and position a service-based business for successful market entry and sustainable scaling in the expanding home organization industry.

Brand Strategy & Market Launch

This assignment focuses on cost-effective, high-impact ways to build awareness and attract clients, emphasizing organic and paid social media promotion across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Nextdoor, supplemented by Google Business Profile optimization, local word-of-mouth referrals, and community networking - while evaluating alternatives such as print advertising, trade shows, or partnerships with real estate professionals. The paper includes rationale for platform selection, content ideas (before-and-after visuals, client testimonials, educational tips), budget-conscious tactics (leveraging free tools and targeted ads), and long-term branding goals (professional logo development and consistent "Clutter That Clutter" messaging to convey trust, friendliness, and transformation). This work demonstrates my ability to assemble practical, low-barrier marketing resources and infrastructure - digital channels, visual assets, community engagement, and performance tracking - to successfully introduce and grow a service-based business in a competitive local market.
